Watercolor Workshop at Pheasant Park Resort - 1pm-3pm, March 8th, 2025.

Join us for an afternoon of watercolor fun! Emily’s Art Cart is excited to announce a Watercolor Workshop at Pheasant Park Resort in Sister Bay on March 8th, 1pm-3pm. Meet in the conference room on the second floor.

During this workshop, we will:

-Learn to use a water pen, and how to activate watercolor paint.

-Learn several basic techniques for painting with watercolors on paper.

-Participants can follow step-by-step instructions to create a quick, mini painting.

-There will then be some time to explore on your own, with access to tutorials and blank watercolor paper. Be creative, explore, relax, and have fun! 

-Every participant will be given a set of 30+ watercolor paints, a water pen, paper, stickers, and more. You can KEEP these materials as well, as we encourage you to continue your watercolor journey afterwards.

All art materials will be provided. You don’t need to bring anything, or feel free to bring what you'd like. I might recommend bringing a water bottle. Although watercolor typically isn’t messy, you might not want to wear your favorite outfit, or bring something protective as you see fit.

IMPORTANT: Please register by purchasing a ticket. The cutoff date for registration is Feb.18th, and all supplies will be ordered at that point. 

If buying multiple tickets, be sure to leave email and names at checkout. There will be a text box for “Special Instructions” and you can add name, email, or even phone number if you prefer. Be prepared to sign in on our sign up sheet at the workshop. 

If you don’t have any experience with watercolor, please still join us! If you do have experience, that’s cool too. We will be covering the very basics, but much of this class will also give you a chance to paint and have fun on your own, and maybe you’ll meet some cool people! Let’s all gather and have fun with art together. If you’re thinking “I’m not artistic!” I would still encourage you to consider joining us. All you need is an open mind!

This class is suitable for all skill levels, and ages 16 years and up. 

When purchasing your ticket, you’ll see a place to leave your email during checkout. I promise not to spam you but I will send a reminder before the workshop, because I don’t want anyone to miss out! Additionally, if we have less than 8 people, the workshop will be cancelled and you will be notified by email and refunded.
